I am observing a small child, 18 months old, and hear him say “stuck” many times in different situations. He recognises when his toy car does not move, or he cannot twist the door knob. He understands when he is “stuck”. But somehow, when we get older, we don’t always notice when we are repeating our mistakes and unhelpful behaviour, or make a mess of our relationships and are unable to go forward. Like a child, we might also need a helping hand to make changes when we feel we cannot.

Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) may be the way forward for you: the therapy will help you to see that it is what we believe about the situations we face – not the situations themselves – that determines how we feel and behave. My role is to guide you through this process of change.

I practise in Central London and St Albans.
